Installed mine tonight. Easy to program and now my US market bike has KMPH for Canada. Lots of the options I didn't use on my FXD such as gear and temp and others.
Havin a tach now is nice although it could be finer scaled. Converted my odometer to KM's not sure if it would have done it itself. Low voltage warning is set by the operator so you can set your own alarm point. Visability is great although I did find I spent alot of time looking at it while ridin. Perhaps when the "shiny shiny new" wears off I'll watch the road more. So far I am impressed with the speedo. Hope it lasts with out issues. Also has a "miles to service option" for those inclined to use it.

No miles remaining. Mine was never right anyway.

That kinda sucks. I use miles remaning cause my gas gauge is so off.

I use the trip meter. I get gas every 120 to 140 miles.

Just installed the red display one on my Wide Glide last night. Was very quick to install and setup. I will take it out today in the sun and see if there are any viewing problems, but so far it is just awesome.

Rode today for 120 miles from about 11am to 1pm. It was difficult to read when the sun hits it just right. That was only for about 20 seconds and it only happened twice the whole ride.

The only problem I have at the moment with this speedometer is the fuel light. It comes on when I hit half a tank remaining on the fuel gauge. It's not really a big deal I guess, but it's annoying. With my stock speedometer I never saw the fuel light come on (I always fill it up before it's in the red on the tank gauge).

I gotta admit that fuel light is the shortcoming of the Dakota.
However it does have three settings; sporty, dyna, and off.
I found that the sporty mode works best, even though I have a dyna.

I have a 2010 FXDC, but not sure what size diameter my stock speedo is. I can measure it when I get home, but curious if someone knows right away. I would much rather have the larger 4.5" than the 3 3/8" one as the tach is more incremental. From the web site, the pictures show the smaller on on the FXD handlebar mount, so I'm hoping the larger one (MCL-2004) is for the FXDC. I can drop them a line too if nobody has a confirmed answer.

Default Sweet!

I got mine in the mail tonight and it fits perfectly. I should say - that's my first upgrade. Only 440 miles on the Odo.

I haven't tested in the daytime yet, but night looks good

I also setup the gear indicator and that's pretty useful.

One thing to note is I was way off with what I thought my RPMs were. I thought I was shifting in the 4-4.5 range, but it was actually between 3 and 3.5.

I'll test it out during the day for a few days and report back if there's any visibility problems.

That was my main reason for getting a tach. Harleys vibrate so much that I had no idea how fast the engine was really turning.
