Default Horn relocation

Got the idea here on the forum so thanks for that as it looks 100% better and it actually works too. Got the pancake horn for $14 at O'Riley auto parts. Mounted it to the battery case behind the rear cylinder. Got the medallion from HD, its a disk brake caliper insert for $14 also. Only hope the heat doesn't ruin the horn but time will tell.

Did the same thing, bought the horn at O'Riley's followed the directions but I didn't cut the horn wires. I lifted the gas tank and cut the harness back and pulled the horn wires back towards the battery box. Taped everything up real nice and and bolted the horn onto the battery box. I ran a bolt backwards through the horn mounting tab and put the the chrome nut from the original horn on the end of it. The horn works great and I don't have to look at that ugly cow bell cover anymore.

Moved my horn a while back and just love it. Get lots of lookers and they always ask about how hard it was to move.

So did you remove all of it from the left side? Do you have a pic?
