Anyone know where I can buy a chrome outer primary cover for my o6 Low rider cheaper than at Harley (have checked ebay and only find damaged ones)? I had a little bump up with a truck running about 85 miles and hour.

 

Just buy it from Chicago HD or Zanotti's online. You can get it for 20% less than at the dealer.

 

I'd keep looking on e-bay or post a request in the Wanted to Buy forum right here. You never know what you'll find. For me, E-bay was great, I found a chromed primary for my '04 Dyna, $100.00 shipped to my door and there was a small scratch, but by the time I installed it, you'd be hard pressed to find it anyway. You just need to keep looking, they'll all get scratched someday and usually can be found for a lot less cash than even the discounted HD dealer sites on the web.

I bought my outer chrome primary cover from Chicago harley. 20% off. Put it on myself, piece of cake. Just get another gasket when you get the cover.

Thanks guys! I'm reluctant about the ones on Ebay because they have "blemishes" and of course are sold as is. The photos are too blurry to be able to see what the blemishes actually look like. I've checked JP and they don't carry the 06 cover at this time. If I decide to buy new I'll check the places you guys recommended.
