you can get the heat shields and try that as opposed to the wrap. Or you can double wrap them.

Isn't wrapping the exhaust eventually going to cause a fracture in the metal and the OP will eventually be buying a new exhaust?

I've seen it before and I don't think I would suggest wrapping exhaust, especially if it's anything but a cheap set of drag pipes that are easily replaced.
