I just got done installing 14" carlini evil apes, with loner industries 1" street bob riser. Relocated my front turn signals to the bottom of the bike. It's looking more and more like my dream bike, all thats left is lowering shocks.
i'm not sure what cable sizes i used, i got them used with a different set of 14" bars that i was having troubles running the wires threw. so i bought these bars instead.
Very nice, If you don't mind me asking what did it cost ya?
i paid :
$350 for the bars
$60 for some used cables and a different set of 14" bars to hang on the garage wall after i figured out how hard it was to interally wire a 1" monkey bar
$10 for one turn signal bracket hd part # 67829-88
$30 for or less for tranny oil and gasket that i can't find the part # for and some tie wraps that plug into the frame.
$18 for a case of bush light.
grand total was around: $468
did the labor myself so i save about $650
Fyiw, I just finished installing 16" apes on my 95' dyna and ended up using a 52" brake line, 43.5" idle cable, 44" throttle cable and a 77" clutch cable. I previously ran 18" apes years ago on this bike and really like these 16's better. Got stopped twice with the 18's and hope I won't be bothered with these 16's.
Soooo confused about front t/s relocation. What wires and where???? Sorry to hijack but I have searched and PM'd and I just cant get the confidence up to complete this one.
