Changed the oil last night. gonna go for a good ride after work today. I'll check on the moisture problem after that. One more question. I did a quick search, but there are so many that I could be reading all day and not doing the mod. But I need to move my turn signals to the forks. Is there a quick low cost solution to this? I would like to put them on the forks. Someone have a link?

Here's how I did mine...remove the original left side turn signal and mount from the handlebar control...I bought the Chrome Turn Signal Swivel Assembly Kit (H-D 68185-00 $19.95) to get the mount for the right side (the stock turn signal is mounted differently on each side). On my '99 Wide Glide (and also on the '93 I used to have), there's a threaded hole in the side of the top triple clamp...these pieces just screw right in there. Only thing I have left to do is shorten the wiring...for now it's just coiled up under the triple clamp with a cable tie around.

Have you checked into the relocation kits offered by HD? If you have future plans to put on a detachable windshield, put the lights on the lower tree.
