Default Nice Surprise

Yesterday I had the 10,000 mile service performed on my bike.
I just bought this bike a couple of weeks ago, it had 9100 on it when I got it....10000 service was part of the deal...cost me "0"....
Anyway....the surprise was that they fixed the leak around the shifter on the primary....
I thought that was above and beyond what they where supposed to do....since the bike was used and has no warranty on it....They also upgraded me to synthetic oil....
Anyway....just tought that I would mention this, seams people always mention the Stealer ships...but hardly mention when they do right....

That is because they seldom do it right, but I am happy for you that you had a better experience than most!

Yeah, you better make a note of this one... it might never happen again.

Don't count on the warm and fuzzy every time...

Ignore the naysayers. I consistently get great service from Adamec in Jacksonville, FL. The one issue I ran into (4 years ago at the Orange Park store) was very quickly corrected at no cost or trouble to me. They sent a trailer over to the house to pick the bike up, took it back in, identified the issue (a NON-HD part!), contacted the supplier, got a replacement (free from vendor), installed it got everything working great and refused any payment, even though I felt I owed them for the labor since it wasn't a HD part.

IMHO, those who walk in with the "stealer" chip on their shoulder get what they expect.

Ignore the non-naysayers.... they're garbage, do half-*** shoddy work, and take your money at every possible turn. They lie. The techs I've had the pleasure to speak with don't follow the proper procedures. They hodge-podge **** back together with out doing all the proper checks and adjustments.

IMHO, those who walk in with the "hope I get treated fairly" chip on their shoulder never get what they expect.
