Dyna gas cap noise?
I figured someone had posted on this before... but I can't find it. Anyone found a fix for the rattling gas-cap? My SuperGlide gas-cap rattles like crazy.
yes, mine drove me nuts too, take a center punch and hammer have someone hold the cap cause you dont want to scratch it or crush it in a vise and dmple it all the way around like in this pic, depending on how bad the rattle is u may not need as many ,or dimple it that hard as i did ,try it and let me know., it worked like a charm for me

I put one of my daughter's thick rubber band hair thingies around the gas cap...worked perfectly. As an added bonus I can use it for my ponytail after I get to where I'm going!!
(And that ponytail is just in my imagination. I have a crew cut.)

I read recently (a month or two ago) that when you tighten the cap, then press down on it and tighten it a little more. It stopped mine from rattling.
