I had the dealer put mine on, they really look nice and even guys on Road Kings look at my bike with admiration. Only mistake I made was not running the electrical in the bars. I did see some braided covers you can put over them and I may do that.

Hey Donnie..can't tell you much about any other brands...I have the HD "diamondback" cables, and I love them. Didn't really feel any difference in brake/clutch pull...but they sure look great. I say go for it...whichever ones you buy, I'm sure you'll love them.

Barnett, they will make any length of cable you might need. I believe carbon was the color that I got.

I was told that every time you was you bike to put on some sunscreen 30 on the covering so they don't turn yellow. This from the parts guy at my local dealer.

I tend to like the Barnett Braided cables the best. I've had both Russell and Barnett and the Barnett seem to be a little better in my own opinion. I bought Harley branded steel braided hoses and cables for my Sportster last month from the dealer and the cables had a Barnett tag on them. I guess Barnett might make them for HD.....The HD diamond back cables are sweet looking too!
