Question Handle bar thickness

I just recently purchased a set of 14 " apes from Hill Country Cycles. They look and feel great, my only concern is the tubing wall thickness. Is 14 GA tubing standard for most handlebars? They feel strong enough, but wanted some input on the safety end of it. Thanks

Did you specify Wild1's when you bought from hill Country? I understand they sell Wild1's, but you have to ask.
They would probably be fine until you drop it or bump into something, hard to tell, more to it that just thickness. How they harden them, if at all, how they make the bends, etc..

Thanks--I have the one inch bars, wanted the wild1's but I ride a Dyna Super Glide and thought there may be fit up issues with the speedo and top clamp being all one unit.
