shock questions

My Stock shocks sheared off the left side recently.... bike is in the garage.. waiting and contemplating on what to order....
Should I go with the stud set up for the 07-09 or should I go with the stock Bolt setup for the 06?

I put on 11" Progressive 430's on my 07 Low Rider. It Lowered my bike by 1 1/2". I also installed a Progressive front fork lowering kit.
Once the bike was dropped, the center of gravity was also lowered which made for improved handling and balance. Doesn't seem top heavy to me anymore. I've not had any bolts "shear off" or come close. Very easy to adjust......just twist and go. No tools required. Great if going 2 up or adding extra baggage. Takes 2 seconds.
If you lower the bike, your jiffy stand will cause your bike to sit more UPRIGHT. Just wanted to make you aware. I found a jiffy stand that was 1" shorter and had that installed to bring the lean angle back to what would be considered normal.
My ride is so much smoother it's ridiculous, and I agree, it's 1000% improvement over stock. I love how the bike reacts and handles with it lowered.
Do some online researching to snag the best price. Good Luck
