Thanks for the compliments guys. Word of caution: When you lay down a new paint job no matter how fuel proof the clear is, make sure it is completely cured before trying to fill the tank with a gas can without a funnel. If you can stick your nose to the paint job and smell paint then it is not completely cured which can sometimes take weeks. Depending on the paint and the environment. I now have a small dime size spot by the filler neck that I have to wet sand and reapply clear and wet sand and rub and polish. All of that extra work for getting in a hurry.
it will polish out bud, On my street fighter the day i put the plastics on my buddy was riding it, he pulled the nozel out with the gas still on! all over my freshly painted bike!!!!!! i flipped and taught how to polish to a buddy that night! ha ha ha
i have been there! sucks, paint looks awesome man, just awesome how did you do the striping?
I used 3/32" black pinstriping tape on the basecoat and then applied the clear over the tape. I had planned on using my pinstriping brush but could not find it anywhere and was trying to do this on a budget so I did not order a new $15.00 brush. The tape works just as well plus it is under the clear so it will be there as long as the paint job is there.

LOL!! That's happened to me before. That is the main reason I switched everything over to 2.4ghz. I am working on it right now. Mounting the side mount and I got the gas mark cleaned up off of the tank. Patience grasshopper.
Well, I do believe she is finished up. For now anyways. I couldn't resist taking her for a spin. She actually runs better with the new paint job and fender. HAHA
