Guys I hated to revive an old thread but I got a chance to lay down the clear on the fender today and thought I would share a couple of pics. Hopefully tomorrow I will start wet sanding the tank and fender.

Really great job. I like the simple but dramatic lines of this classic scheme.

Your right, pinstripe covered it up nicely.

Looks good! Are you using spray can's or actual equipment?

I have a Sharpe FX2000 which is a conventional gravity feed gun. I used it for the primer, base and clear. I still haven't found out the brand or color code of paint that I used but am working on it.

LOVE IT!!! This is what Im going to be doing soon. Planned on using Hot Rodz Flat White or Blood Red not sure which way Im going yet... but after seeing the your pinstripes, it really pops!

Very nice man, kudos!

Update: I have the tins back on. I have to run to the local HD dealer tomorrow to get the o-ring that goes under the fuel gauge. Mine was dry rotted and broken before I pulled the tank but forgot to go get a new one until now. The side mount for the license plate will be here Wed.

It's just the stock 09' seat. I still need to send the dash to get chromed. It sticks out like a sore thumb being black.
