Default Dyna SB Comfort / Shocks/seat

Hello all I am lookin into comfort options for my sb
I Know the mustang seats are the most comfortable for what I hear but I do not like the looks - I now use a HD sidekick love the looks but Its Just OK
Can anyone compare the mustang seats to the C&C fast back ?
Next is shocks I woul want to lower the bike a bit but also have the most comfortable /smooth /cusshy ride as posiable

What about foot pegs - I have fowards what pegs are comfortabe ?
Thanks for your thoughts

i cut and recoverd my stock seat, it is great, sending the passanger pad to Mean city cycles to be redone. on the shocks i 100% recomend air shocks for a soft fluffy ride (stock touring shocks work great and are cheap)
on frowards i like iso pegs for the rubber inserts and stir ups

+1 on the iso pegs
Lowering the bike with shorter shocks will never make the ride cushier, you're reducing the amount of travel and you only have about 3" to start with. Like Joe said above, try some air shocks.

Will stock Harley air shocks work on my 2001 FXDL? Yes I'm looking for a smoother ride.

I had an 07 FXDB and now an 03 FXDL, both stock seats were OK and the 03 is actually pretty comfortable, but I am rambling... I put a mustang vintage seat on my 07 w/backrest. I really liked it, my wife hated it. A friend of mine has a similar setup and he hates it, it is not a comfortable seat, he actually likes the stock seat on my 03 better than his mustang.

Long story short, remember that recommendations are just that. Recommendations. Your best option is to sit on the seat yourself, or better yet, borrow one from somebody to try for a few miles or so before you make that capital investment.

On Sunday I leave for a 2000 mile ride on my street bob and wanted a smoother ride for the long cruise.
Searching posts here, JRK came up a couple times saying to go the touring bike take-off route.
Found a basically brand new pair on craigslist, off an electra glide I think, for $40.

So far I'm loving it. The bike rides so much smoother, she just seems to float down the road. I'm actually looking forward to long miles on my bike now.
Hard cornering feels a bit "squishy", but I've got 0# psi right now and will play with the pressure till it feels right.

All in all, before dropping $600 or more on new shocks, try the air shock take-off route. Its cheap, easy and way more "cruiser friendly" than our stock Dyna shocks.
Side-note- bike sits a bit higher when parked, but lowers a couple inches down to about stock height when i sit down.
