Default se compensator sprocket?

I have read some of the past threads, but none really jumped out at me. I recently dumped my se260 cams for some tman 625's and went with a hpi 55 throttle body along with a boarzilla 2-1 pipe. I went from 112hp & 111tq to 123hp & 124tq in my 103" and I'm starting to notice a slight bang when letting out the clutch and getting on the gas. I suspect the stock compensators about to take a ****. I'm just curious if anybody else with a built motor has had this same problem and if I'm right to think it's the compensator? I was told the stock one can't handle the amount of torque I'm putting out and it's only a matter of time before it goes. I have the se comp ordered and it should be here next week.

Yep Joe that's what it is. I put one in my weak *** build and it no longer crashes into gear. It's a lot smoother going into first and doesn't bang like it used to. You'll like it. You're going to have to get the 30017-07 stator for it as well.

Yeah my old set-up wasn't bad, I just wanted to get the most out of the build. I looked around for a cam that would meet my needs and decided on the 625's. I was also maxing out my stock injectors so I figured I would just do the hpi 55 tb w/5.3 inj and go with a big bore 2-1 pipe. The tb & pipe are overkill but I wanted to have them incase I ever went bigger in cubes. My heads are ported as well and it was tuned by Dave @ Jdscycleworks using a sert w/upgrade. I put about 15k miles on the build since swapping everything and it still amazes me when I hit the throttle! Only down side with that much torque and my riding style is I'm only getting 4-5K out of the rear tire.

You will love the SE Compensator. My bike does not have nearly the HP or torque you have, but the weak *** stock compensator was making all kinds of noise. Lots of banging on startup and when cracking the throttle. Now it as smooth as glass, and ready when I have the funds for other upgrades. What clutch are you running? Another weak stock part...

I did something similar for a bike build with the same 625 cams. Those things are wild!

The first thing I noticed was that my clutch couldn't take the torque, so I installed the AIM variable pressure clutch, that solved that issue.

I, too ordered the SE compensator and it came in two weeks ago. No banging yet, but bought it on the advice of others, knowing that I will eventually need it. I'm just waiting for the incentive to tear into the bike again.

I am ready to upgrade the compensator on teh Duna the dam thing is noisey as hell, worse than my Ultra before it gave out, why do you need to change the stator? Is there something different in the Dyna vs the Ultra, both 09's?

Never mind I just read it in the PA manual. Wonder why though?
