Security fob
Any chance somebody could scan this card and post it on the forum? I bought my bike used with no owner's manual. The service manual has the instructions but not the "pocket card."
Thanks in advance.
It's just so convenient to keep both together. I just had the siren system added and got to hear it for the first time yesterday. Left the key and fob in my helmet sitting on a bench about 20 feet from the bike. The mechanic needed to adjust my new engine guard mounted highway pegs and asked me to get on the bike. As soon as I turned the tire and lifted the bike up...... off it went. He got the fob and it finally stopped shreaking when the fob was 1 foot away from my windshield.
Anyway, I've been riding with the key and fob together on a rubber tether since day 1....but I'll inspect them and maybe put some tape around it. I just dont want to fuss with having to remember a separate fob......or take a chance losing it all together
Below is what's on the cards included with the owners manual, and sections of the Owners Manual relating to the security system.

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
I replaced my FOB batteries for the first time over the winter. This is our 4th riding season and the dealer suggested it was time for a swap out.
I also have the Pager unit, and from what I heard, they eat batteries when activated, so I went online, found and bought LIR 2450 rechargable button cell batteries along with a charger.
They do make rechargables & a charger for the FOB batteries... Instead of CR2032, they're listed as LIR 2032.
here's a link to check things out. They say 1 rechargable will take the place of buying 200 normal ones.
