Just for a frame of reference, all the upgrades you mentioned are installed on my 05 FXDC. Love the detachable sissy bar and windshield and although I'm only 6 ft, the forward controls allow me to stretch out over the frame. Good Luck...........

I notice you have highway bars on your bike along with forward controls.
Everything I have read suggests that you could not have a hghway bar on an 2005 FXDI (FXDCI) with forward controls.
Any issues and what part number is the highway bar/Mfg of the bars?
