As a new owner of an 06 Fire Red Pearl Superglide I must say this site was very helpful in researching which bike would best suite me. Looking forward to posting ?'s and helping when I can.
Yes, I know Pics will be coming as soon as the weather here brightens up. Why is it that I buy a new bike and within 3 days of purchase the weather goes to rain with a forecast of 3 more days of the same. Oh well? I did manage to put 300 miles on already.
The best part for me is the bike was the wifes idea. Now that the kids are grown and riding was one of the things we'd liked when we were first married. This is like a second honeymoon. I have always had a bike (last 20 years was a '74 850 Norton Commando), just didn't ride that much when the kids were growing up. Sold that bike and then within a year the wife says she'd like to go for a ride. Rented an Ultra-Glide, but that was way more bike for the riding I like to do. The Superglide fits well. A couple of changes and I can see it being perfect. New seat is on order (for 2 up riding), and I'm pretty sure forward controls (I'm 6'-2") and a quick release windshield is in my future.
Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi.
Jeff
I'm sitting out the same CT rain as you and had the adventure of riding down Rte 95 from New Haven to Old Saybrook in the downpour Friday AM. Don't need that at my age. Keep dry, ride safe and welcome to the forum. Dana
Yea this rain does suck. Supposed to clear up middle of week. Of course no info on next weekend. Good luck with your new dyna. They are nice bikes. I have an o6, chopper blue, too lazy to do the picture thing. Got to figure it out first. Safe riding.

Did a CT river (RT 151 to 154) than shoreline run on Thursday with the wife. Last sunny day to my recollection. Riding in the rain is no picnic. I don't envy you on that day.
