Default New Rush 2.0 Slip-on mufflers

Just put a set of Rush 2.0 slip-ons on the 2010 FXD. Really LOUD when you get on the throttle...NICE. And quiet if you are cruising at constant RPM. They sound nice when you let off the throttle..some popping and gurgling...I like it.

Way better than stock. Next will probably be some form of improved air intake with whatever tuning and fuel management is needed.

I have the Rush 2 inch slip-on mufflers on my '07 FXD, and am very pleased with the deep tone and the performance. I have had many compliments on the way the bike sounds. I also have the SE intake and SERT tuner. Dyno chart shows HP and torque gains from below 2000 rpm and a broader, flatter power curve thru 6000 rpm. Peak rwhp vs, stock increased from 65 hp to 77, peak rwtq increased from 76 to 90. About 18% gain. Not bad for stage 1.

I installed the same set up on my FB two years ago...The sound gets better as they break in.

Yes a tuner will certainly liven up the bike, check out the TTS kit as its the best thing going at the moment. I tuned before installing a free flow cleaner and it made a wow difference. The AF not so much of a factor except at 4500 plus rpm. Certainly not a wow. Love those 2.0 rush, however. Turns heads for sure, but just sounds nice to me.

They may have changed the name, but your local parts guru should know what the newest version is.

When you put on those slip- ons. Did you have to do any retuning?
