i purchased a new 07 low rider from my local harley dealer in feb 08.
since then i've purchased a 02 deuce injected. the dyan has less than 600 miles on it, and the deuce has 5000 miles. from a vibration stand point there is no comparison. the deuce is smooth from fender to fender, but the dyna vibrates so much that my wife will not lean against the factory sissy bar because it makes her back go numb.it causes my throttle hand go numb almost as fast as my old 98 1200c sportster did. i talked to a harley dealer in another city and he suggested i take it to my local dealer, which i plan to do,but i discovered this web site and said what if? any help would really be appretiated. if this is common to the dyna's i'll trade it for a softail.

welcome to the world of dyna's. vibs are what makes a dyna a dyna. some have more vibrations than others. if you want a total smooth ride than u need to go with the "b"motor u get with a softail. I however love my dyna and its vibration. makes me remember its a Harley.
I have a 07 dyna Lowrider and started feeling a vibration in my foot rests. It ended up being a motor mount and once replaced it's been smooth ever sense. Might check it out at the dealer. They love warranty work. Ray

Dealer replaced my front motor mount as a warranty item at 5K service.
I have a 2010 FXDF FatBob. I test rode it twice on the same morning. The vibration almost kept me from purchasing it, but it was such a fun motorcycle!! I have installed a True-Track which makes the vibration at idle about the same, but everywhere else.....magic. I finished the install on Sunday morning while the wife and boy slept. Test rode it that afternoon and rode for two hours through my favorite west of Pinehurst twisties. Handling was better but vibration was cut way down at speed. I didn't have to keep looking for that sweet speed to keep my hands from going numb. Still waiting on my suspension stuff from Ricor and to install my Vibranators one evening after work. I bought the True-Track for handling, but you may like it just for the change in the vibration. Does your wife have a pad on her sissy bar? Can you put a cut mouse pad between the bar and the pad to cut vibrations or race foam or a gel pad. If momma ain't happy....
