Looks to me like the black box 'Weather Station' on the dyno was picking up 62 degrees celsius for some reason or another. Exhaust? Whatever. Prolly needs calibrated.

But the computer on the dyno will automatically correct the power reading (Power Correction Reading) to what it would have been at STP (Standard Temperature Pressure) based on what the Weather Station is telling it. Which is 29.92 inches of mercury and 60 degrees Fahrenheit.

Just a guess. But based on this --

Here's what's on the sheet;
Correction factor : SAE Smoothing 5
5th gear run
62*celsius
29.01 in-Hg
Humidity 57%
SAE 1.26

Results ended up a lot higher than I thought, or think it should be :
82.71 hp at 5000 rpm 100.46 tq at 3600 rpm

I'd say the Correction factor being used is 1.26 so if you divide 82.71 by 1.26 you get 65.6 on HP and 100.46/1.26 would give you 79.73 lb-ft of torque, both at STP.

Just a guess. But it sounds right.

That is what I was thinking as well, but was not sure, but it sounded logical.

That's very possible. My guess before it went on was 70hp / 85 or 90 tq, so was very skeptical to see the #'s it posted. Time will tell, cams are in now, just home from the dealer, seat of pants says it is definitely stronger, guess we'll have to wait til tomorrow to see just how much
