Impossible to find neutral on new FXDC

Default Impossible to find neutral on new FXDC
So... I can't get the bike in neutral when the bike is running. When I turn the engine off, it shifts to N easily. The dealer says the bike may still be tight, and they will look at it at the 1000 mile maintenance. I don't really want to wait that long.

Mine did it too. It's a combination of getting the feel for it and getting it broke in. I have about 600 miles on it and I am just now starting to get a feel for it and using the right touch.

Red face Same issue initally
It took about 300 miles to get it to the point where I can get easily.

I figured it was just part of the break-in period.

I guess I must have got lucky with mine. But then again the day I picked it up from the dealer I put 400+ miles on it. I never noticed any problem finding neutral.

My 2010 Super Glide Custom 525 miles got the hang of it eay to find 95% of the time

As you put more miles on it, it will get easier.

Must be a break in thing.

Clutch basket and cable might not be adjusted properly from the factory. It's a simple procedure and cures this issue 99% of the time.
