Dyna slash cut muffler
Anyone here know if the Dyna sllash cut muffler for an '06, that is in the Screaming Eagle section of the manual p/n 80418-06 , sound better than stock? Have an '06 FXDI35 that I want to sound better.

I have those mufflers on my '06 Low Rider.
They are definitely louder than stock, but not as loud as SE2 or other slip-ons like Rinehart or Cycle Shack.
Took about 800 miles before they had a decent rumble sound. The rumble and sound increases as you apply the throttle.
I pretty much like them but am considering changing them for Rinehart slip-ons.
If you're looking for decent but "not too loud" sound, they are for you. If you want a real loud rumble that will set off car alarms, they are not for you.
I'll decide on changing them in a couple of weeks. If you're interested in buying mine (about 1300 miles and in great shape) send me a PM mid to late September.

Thanks Sammi I bought a new pair on ebay tonight from Mancuso. By your discription they sound like what I was after. I didn't want them too loud, neibors might get upset when I go in to work at 4:30 in the morning at times.
