Has anyone on here purchased any of the Cycle Shack Slip-ons or exhuast yet. I was told that they were a great value and that they sound really good. They can also be extremely loud if the baffle is removed. I just want a nice deep sound and I want to maintain the original exhaust look that their slip-ons offer. I really like the factory look. It seems to me that most aftermarket slip-ons don't come in the tapered style. Which has always been my favorite look.
I have a 06 Dyna Low Rider and just had a set of Cycle Shack slash cut mufflers put on last Friday. I like the way they sound. I will say they are with out a doublt louder then stock but now it sounds like a Harley and that is what I was after. Mine cost $200 installed. For the dollar value I think you will be very pleased with the sound. I am.
My Cycle Shack turnouts arrived by UPS yesterday. Part #MTO-129. Baffle is all steel and simple in design. All of the 20+ posts I have read here and on other forums say these are awesome mufflers. Inexpensive, loud, and provide good performance even after increasing displacement. I'll be combining them with a PCIII and SE A/C on my 06 Bob. Can't wait to hear 'em. $142 delivered from Dennis Kirk. I think the price on these has gone up recently, also try jireh cycles for a good price I've heard.
thanks for the replies gents. They have them listed at $157 through the company. They seem to be the ones I want. No one elses seems to sale the tapered/stock look. My local dealer told me that they had them in stock also but I failed to get a price. I'll have to call tommarow and see.
Looked at the box they came in last night and the part number is MS-129 Baloney cut. Like I said I have a 06 Dyna Low Rider. To be honest when I looked at them on Cycle Shacks home page I wasn't sure if I really liked them or not, but once I saw them on my bike I was really impressed with the looks of them. I have even had different people comment on them, saying they really look good on the bike.
