Here's a pic of my glide with the new drags. I love the look and the sound. Wasn't hard to switch out from stock. Having a problem getting two of the flange nuts tight. Do i need a thin wall socket or something? Real hard to get in there. I had to remove two mounting brackets. Are there supposed to be some brackets to hold these up? I put the muf bracket to hold the two together, but what supports the weight? I hope it's not all at the head. Should I need to fabricate a bracket? The diameter is 2" and I think the stocks are 1 3/4" so the stock clamps will not fit over the pipes, plush they would look like ****. Anyone else have this setup?
Are those made specifically for your model bike or are they universal fit. Most pipes come with mounting brackets, you'll probably have to fab something for them.
Yeah, accessing the flange nuts is a bit of a task. Two things that help are crowsfoot sockets and using a 1/4" socket set with about a 6" extension.
Remember not to overtighten - you can easily pull the stud out of the head and that's nothing but trouble. And double check them after the next few heat/cool cycles - they often loosen back up and will fall completely off if you don't watch them for a bit.
Looks good, btw. Drags aren't my thing but it is a nice look.

Theye are for 91 to 05 dyna. It said to use stock mounting brackets. They came with the t-bolts for the stock bracket. That's on, but seems like there should be something else to make them more solid. You can kinda see the bracket in the picture. Bottom left. There was a large one that was black that mounted to the trans and another real small one under the cam cover.
