I did, however, put Xied's from night rider on my FXDF. The xieds are resistors that plug in line with the O2 sensors. they trick the computer into giving the bike a fatter air fuel ratio. After installing these my A/F ratio was 13.5-1. Much better.

The inline resistor keeps the fule injector open just a wee bit longer... which adds more fuel to the mix.
"The XiED(tm) is the preferred upgrade by most riders. The richer fuel mixture provides better heat reduction and improved performance.
Nightrider's unique "patent pending" design approximates a richer fuel mixtures to quickly and simply improve the closed loop fuel mixture on your TC96/103/110 engine from 14.6:1 to 13.8:1. This results in cooler exhaust temperatures. Recommended for stock bikes and those with upgraded exhaust or intake."

If you install the XIEDS/VIEDS I would really recommed you get rid of the CATS. I put 2" rush slips on and vieds on my 2010 fxdc and the bike runs great and sounds great. I get an easy 40-50 mpg. I am looking at changing the AC but will call nightrider first. The guy is easy to talk to. I think he is an electrical engineer but can bring it down to my level.
Your Dealer is Full of it! Get the PVC 5 from Fuel Moto. They will send it all ready mapped for your bike. I installed mine with no problem and now have no poping or back fireing.
It's a lot cheaper than having the dealer do it.
