My kickstand seems sturdy enough, but if it did break it would be a disaster. Any experiences with kickstands breaking on a Dyna?
I'd say you have a good life. Carry on.

I just like my bike and I'd hate to find it wrong side up

Just don't park it. Learn to fuel it while saddled and you will never have to worry about it.
Ride-on!

Sheesh!

So just be sure you don't park it on soft dirt or really hot asphalt...

Dude, I almost give up on on this thread. Glad I didn't, I'm still wipping tears from my eyes from laughing so hard!
Thanks

This was in response to Johnny's contribution.

Pretty sure that the kickstand is one of the MOST reliable parts on your ride and the one you will never have to replace or upgrade...

Visit the Harley museum in Milwaukee. They have kickstands that have been holding the same motorcycles up for over a century. Thats more than enough piece of mind not to worry about kickstand failure.

It's a legit question if you're coming to Harleys for the first time. Especially from the Japanese side of motorcycling.

The kickstands on some of those bikes are about as reliable as your ex-wife with one of your credit cards.

Give the kid a break.

My family was killed by a kickstand. It even ate the dog.

I don't trust 'em.
