Yep I think it looks like crap too and if you put the detachable sis bar rails
on it, it really clashes.
Probably cheaper to make that way or something.

The Bob would definitely look better (to me anyway) if everything matched the polished aluminum rocker boxes and triple trees. The brushed finish struts were a good idea poorly executed. They actually have the slight bronze hue of nickel plating so they really don't match anything else. Couple that with the chrome turn signals and it just looks dumb. I'd rather take Scotchbrite pads to my chrome.
