I was cleaning my bike last night and noticed the same cracks on the tire. I have 1400 miles on it i am calling the local dealer soon to see what they can do. Luckily i have about 4 dealers in my local area so if one gives me sh*t i will move on to the next one. I have not experienced any wobble in the front end, does anyone know what it causing that?

That is a Dunlop tire. You can see the arrow "D" in the third picture down. This sounds eerily familiar to the problem that Ford had with them Explorers a few years back. Your lucky you didn't have a massive front tire failure. Those tires look way too new to be falling apart like that. Could have just been a bad run of tires possibly. Dunlop had better pray those aren't retreads, cause I'd be screamin' lawsuit.

Took the bike to a local dealer last night. I had to leave it of course. They told me they have never heard or seen anything like that. And that they have to call Dunlop.... I cant wait to hear this one lol

Just got off the phone with the dealer. The bike is done. They are writing it up as a defect and are replacing it under my factory warranty.

The dealer replaced mine a couple weeks ago under warranty. They said it was the second one so far.

Hey brother I have the same problem and I was at the dealer and discussed it with them and told them your story. I was informed that they would replace mine and start a bulletin if you or someone here with the same problem can scan and PM me the paperwork from the dealer that replaced theirs. Can you do that, it may just help everyone out with the same issue and maybe in act a recall. Let me know brother and thanks,

H-D should replace them at no charge, they can get their money outa Dunlop.
Anyone saying something like that came from running over rock or pebbles, has rocks and pebbles in his head.
