What Mastertune file to use...
I just got the parts to do a Stage 1 on my 2008 WG. Screaming Eagle intake and V&H Straightshots Full pipes not the slip ons. Also will be installing the Quite baffles. What Mastertune Map should I load to get myself started. Thanks!!

for my SERT tune, there was a base map that was essentially hi-flow air cleaner, race pipes, stock injectors. Your map list should have something similar to that I would think. Be sure not to use a file for a different injector, upgraded cams, etc.

Mine worked great right from the git go...I rode it awhile like that. I noticed a biggggg difference in how cool it ran compared to stock.
I didn't have to lift my leg on these hot days at the stop lights where before my leg was cooking.....

AE-176-002 is the correct one to use, I used it for my '08 FXDC with SE intake and D&D Fatcat full exhaust with good results. All the maps are fairly interchangeable by model year according to TTS but I believe the FL line has a different cam profile from the others so maps for those may not be optimal.

I just used the same one in mine yesterday... I have Python Venom Radius and SE Heavy Breather...works like a champ before V-Tune. No surging and much less popping on decel...love it so far. I just need to figure out how to strap the laptop so I can do the V-tune. -Rich
