I was exhausted after 835 miles in three days. Cheyenne to Sturgis, all the fun rides, and back to Cheyenne. It was a great time though. No patches for me.
I would like to submit an idea here. I will call it the "Feather-Butt" trophy. To be given to those, like my boss, who has ridden 1000 miles in one year. I am not kidding. That's all he has on his bike. I only have a shade over 5000 in a year, but it sure beats 1000.
Highly recommend Wheel Through Time. He was doing burnouts with an old Crocker when we went.
Highly recommend the Iron Butt too. We did it last fall, TN-VA-NC-SC-NC-TN. 1050 miles in 20 hours. Stopped every 100 miles or so for gas and a smoke, wasn't that bad.
