Neither REQUIRE mod to lift a dyna. You will need the harley lift adapters. I tried using them several times and personally they suck a$$. That's why I decided to mod my sears red jack to work without the lift adapters.

I have the exact same jack and haven't had any problems with it, I used it to put my Burly slammer shocks and it worked like a champ! for the price you can't beat it!
