Looks like the laws were really directed at cars. Having the VIN label directly under the VIN itself is kind of redundant to me.
It's coming off my bike real soon--can't imagine a cop would give you a ticket for not having one.

I doubt anyones been ticketed for this issue.
How would they go about getting a new sticker?

LOL. It sounds like like the tags on the mattress which you "Can't remove under penalty of law". I'm still waiting for the Mattress Police to show up at my door!

Funny thing, I spend most of my time in the saddle and you can't even see that tag from there... But I can see where it might be an eyesore if you spend the majority of your time just staring at and cleaning your bike.
