I have purchased several new HD in the past 3 decades. The absolute first thing I do is park the bike on carpet in my garage, grab a few brews, put on some blues and start peeling off every single sticker on the bike. Period!

The one benefit of the sticker is the bar code which ceems to be used more and more today.

Got rid of mine a while back. Cleans up the look of the down tube. Truth be told, it's probably more "illegal" to remove the reflectors... Oh well, they're gone too...

I spend as much time as I can on the saddle, but Im probably one of those weird individuals who also takes a peek in the garage when Im not riding or looking after the kids, just to "Check" on my Harley and Triumph. There's something about seeing British Iron and American Steel sitting side by side in my garage. Yeah, weird, I know

When I was a young rider in 1953 on my first Harley; Triumph and Harley's were the most seen bikes on the streets in Omaha, NE. A few Indians too, but very few others.

Is that the sticker that also warned me of "Death or Serious Injury" every time I looked at it? Yeah, it's gone

I've been riding this bike since 2000 and never even thought about the stickers. Now, thanks to this thread, I suppose I should peel em off. Just don't want to damage the paint since they've been on for so many years. Think they'll come off clean?
