Default 180 tire question

Yes, I searched. No, I didn't find the specific answer I was looking for, after reading through a couple dozen threads.

Does the wire relocating affect only the wires going from the taillight ***'y to the turn signals or do I have to move the big bundle of wires coming from the main harness up the center of the fender? I've relocated my signals for saddlebags, so the T/S wires just run to the hole by the license plate mounting holes.

Thanks.

Paul, I don't remember if your bike is lowered but I have the 180 installed without any "kit" and I've had no issues.

It's not lowered, Vic, but doesn't the Wide Glide have a wider rear section than other Dynas?

Check the axle or swingarm part numbers for your bikes, I think they are the same. They were for all 05's.

Dangit! Dealer said they can't get the Dunlop 180 anymore. So, I've got to wear out another 160 until the front needs replacing. Then I'm going with Metzlers.

I just got my replacement 180. 43197-04A is now 43197-04B Dunlop 180, same tire it just says Harley Davidson on it instead of Screaming Eagle. An independent shop I use now picked it up at a dealership. Tire is still on the Dunlop site.
