$42.50 for mount and balance. With local taxes, m&b the 160 was under $200.

+1. I've mixed brands on the front and back of several bikes over the years, usually for exactly the same situation you have. Wore out the back, front still good, wanted to switch so I did. Never had any issues whatsoever.

Ouch, the 43197-04B tire isn't cheap, if they had one. I'll stick with the 160 for now.

latus has them (supposedly) in stock for $233.96 with free shipping. What's the big deal?

I've never been a fan of Pirelli car tires, but I understand they've made a lot of progress on improving everything about them. Especially their motorsickle tires. The 180/60-17 Night Dragon can usually be had for around $175.
