Default Tires for Fat BoB

I've looked around in the threads and have got some good info on Cheap prices on tire websites, but when I get on these websites no one has Dunlop D427 180/70/16.....has any one replaced their rear tire on a Fat Bob and was able to get the D427 at a good price, or is this tire a Harely Dealership thing?

I think that is a tire made for the Fat Bob, and probably is only available through HD dealers (?)

I'm quite impressed with these tires.

I was told as well that the stock FatBob tires were made specifically for that bike. I will get the same ones when I need them. HD website is the only place I saw that carried them.

Got mine at latus-hd.com for $188 - no delivery fee, no tax. I'm reasonably happy with the D427, and couldn't ask for better milage. When buying stock HD parts on-line it's always a good idea to check zanottimotor.com and chicagoharley.com also.

I was up to 13K with 1 or 2 more 'K' to go. I swapped out early to be ready for our PNW rally this month. Dunlop could use a stickier compound, but I push it hard in the twisties and have plenty of traction.
