just do the 180 tire, looks almost the same.and it wont cost you that much for the mod.instead of paying for a custom wheel in the back FOR A 200.if your going to do that throw a 240 or 330 on it,if your going to go big GO BIG.if not just do the 180 IMO
Ditto - don't waste your money on the wide tire kit either; not needed. Just make sure to tuck your wires tight and double check clearance.
There's an article in the Feb issue of Barnetts magazine about this subject. Rick's Motorcycle has addressed the issue with a big wheel kit. It states that the original fender can be used without modification by using Rick's new dyna indicator bracket kit wich mounts his small micro bullet torpedo turn signals to the stock holes. The shorter screws used gain a lot of room to fit up to a 200mm tire in the stock swingarm. I haven't looked yet but see if you can find them here. www.ricks-motorcycles.com or www.houseofcustom.de
Going through all of this right now on mine. think i,m just gonna get a 18X5.5 rim. already removed the rear blinkers so they won,t be in the way anyways. any body know where i can order the 200/50-18 tire from? i'd like to use one of the board sponsers if there is one who can get this tire for me.
A dealer installed 200, I'd like to see a photo of that also. I saw the pictures at Rick's, but I never saw an article.. Any other places I can research it?
