cam install
pondering doin a cam swap myself. seems pretty straight forward,my only concern is installing the adjustable push rods. just wondering if anybody who has done it can tell me if its as easy as it seems. or if i should dump the cash to have it done
I am going to purchase the service manual, just not sure if it has info on the adjustable pushrods or not

it depends on what adjustabls you are you using i used the andrews ones with the stock pushrods tubes and it sucked ....i have heard the screamin eagle ones with the shorter tubes are way eaiser ....or you could just pop your rocker boxes off and use the stock ones its not hard at all..

I can't comment on the adj. pushrods but if you have half a brain (like me) you can handle a cam swap. The service manual is an absolute necessity for this undertaking.
Some people say that adjusting adj. pushrods sucks. I can't say either way.
I did however reuse my stock pushrods and I found that process to be pretty easy. Only needed to remove the tank to gain proper access to the rocker cover bolts. Some of them have very limited access. Unless you were going to have your heads done to bump compression I'd say reuse your stock pushrods.
