Question Need help finding a part number

Hey all, I'm finally getting my pipes, pc v, and a/c. I wan't to get a mud mod air cleaner but on my 09' Street Bob I have the teardrop cover. I was able to get a football cover from a buddy but it is from an 08' softail. So I need to replace the insert.

I think the last Street Bob's to come with a football was 07'???

I can't seem to find the part on the web anywhere. Can anyone help me out?

29343-06 is what Mud has listed. I ordered one for my 2010 and the part number was 29343-08. So I'm not sure if there is a differance between the football and teardrop cover insert.

I think the 06 street bob had the really wide aluminum insert which wouldn't fit the 08' softail football. I wonder if that 29343 is the right one. I would expect that it would be an 07 part number.

There is a difference between the insert in the teardrop cover (it is smaller) then the football cover, otherwise I would just use the insert from my teardrop.

Did you say you ordered that part number for a teardrop cover?

Yes the one I ordered is for a 2010 Street Bob Teardrop AC cover. Getting mine powdered this winter. I called Zanotti's and talked to the girl who does the internet orders and she gave me the right part number. If you call before you place your order she should be able to get you the right one.

hmmm, i wonder if my teardrop would fit in the football then. I need to measure it again.

Does anyone here have a 07' Street Bob that can confirm if it came stock with a football or not?

edit to add -> And whether or not that football had the black circle insert that says 96 cubic street bob or the wide aluminum insert?

Hey Mud....do you have a catch can or something hooked up to the A/Cs on those bikes? By catch can I mean the tubes running off the back plate to something to catch oil over flow.
