Hey MarksBob, I did a search on that headlight of yours and only came up with sidemount dual dominator setups. I would like to have a headlight like the one you used however I would like a chrome one. Can you help me out with a link?
Seems like there are so many different picture and mod threads, but doesn't seem that there is one dedicated to headlight mods alone. Considering what a major appearance difference it can make, I think it is time for a thread dedicated to this specifically.
Just seems like a common mod, one that gets little attention on posts.
Posts can be anything from simple powder coating to housing changes, to 100% custom mods. Post your pics!
BTW, would love to see anyone who has installed a Crime Scene Choppers Rapide Headlight on their ride..
Mine (7" OEM FatBoy style light (powdercoated gloss black w/satin black trim ting) with WideGlide Bullet headlight mounting block):
There are some wild looking headlights on this thread. I definitely like the Fatboy lights on the Street Bobs, but I liked the Crime Scene Rapide for my bike the first time I saw it. It fits with the color scheme.
I think I'm the only one who digs the stock headlight. IMO it fits the size of the front end better than any of the alternatives. I scotchbrited the trim ring and mounting hardware and left it alone.

Got any pics? Actually wanted that myself, but the Black one with the chrome grill has been on back order for the longest time. I think actually a dual mont with two rapide lights would be the sickest look ever (and way expensive!).

nope I powder coated the bucket and trim ring, but really dig the light.
