I was "warned" years ago that a 21 inch front tire would make the front end feel "squirrelly". After riding a 1200 custom 5,000 miles last season and an 07 Wide Glide 6,000 miles this season, I would totally disagree. The front feels secure and "rooted to the road"...anyone else feel the same? Or differently?

My issues were never with it being squirrelly. Still, I bought the Avon just to be safe. I never ran a 21 because I lived in the city of Chicago and they never lasted more than a few months till the chi-town potholes bent them into pretzels. Now I live in VA, its 21 all the way for me.
Not really noticeable on my 04 1200C. I have metzlers on it. Just gets squirrelly in ruts and it's center of gravity is pretty high when riding 2 up. Of course I just bought a fat bob because the ride was so much better. Man did it feel weird riding my sportster today after getting off my fat bob.
