I have been looking for a fairing like this for MONTHS! I want this exact same fairing for my 2010 wide glide!! Where did you get it, and how do I get it...If you could be specific that would be great! Website? cost? hardware? how much work was it to install? anything would help, I have a rally in sept. that I would love to have this on by then. THANKS!!
I just got back from Bike Week in Daytona. I had the Memphis Shades Batwing put on. They used the slim / fats windshield mounting kit to put it on. The only thing I had to do was move the turn signal down on the forks. I also had the 5" black windshield installed. This makes riding alot better due to the wind being deflected. I'll have the part #'s for the mounting kit soon.
For me, I was trying to stay away from the cost of a wide open custom fairing($750+), yet get away from the HD wndshield. I have a National Cycle Plexifairing GT thats painted to appear to be a bat wing fairing. Total cost....under $200

Reason: adding pics
Thanks!! It really works great. High speed(65mph+ up to 85) stability increased tremendously over the HD windshield to where its a non-issue, and goes way farther than nothing at all in stability and comfort. Its painted flat black from the inside and therefore is ALWAYS glossing from the outside. I did add a 3/4"x3/16"x16" bar across the bottom, wedged between the headtube and the forks to hold it over the mickey mouse set-up that came with it. Of course it was really a gamble since Nat/Cycle doesn't list any harley for its Plexifairing GT.

Reason: added more info
I installed a Memphis Shades Batwing on my Wide Glide this week. I love that it comes off in less than 30 seconds and offers far better wind and weather protection than a windshield. Best addition I've made so far.
XKnight - Is that the same Yamaha V-Star 650 Classic fairing that Trip20 posted earlier? Either way, can you post more pics from different angles? It looks awesome. I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my 2014 WG. Thanks!
Also, is that the 5inch windshield? And do you have the stock headlight on there or did you change that and?
