1600 miles on my bob. Went for a ride and when i try and down shift, sometimes not all the time. It will only down shift once and it seems like it gets stuck there and will not let me downshift anymore. Then out of the blue it starts working . Very disappointed. The stealer is gonna look at it Monday.

 

Maybe the shift linkage needs adjustment?

 

I read today that there is a recall on the 06 Dyna transmissions. Look it up. Sounds like your problem. It was something about downshifting and "false neutrals"????? Just do a search for Harley Davidson Recalls on google.

 

i had the same problem with my streetbob,when i first got it.they did the transmission recall.fixed everything and havnt had a problem yet with it.and getting it into neutral is 10 times easyier

 

I havent had any issues with the false neutral. It has always been a little difficult too find neutral. The only thing i could find on recalls was the Neutral recall.

O well, Dropping it off today. So they can check it out monday. Ill check the linkage b4 i bring it in. Dont think thats it .
