I'm looking for opinions on this seat and photos if you have them.. I bought a Mustang wide vintage solo for my Fat Bob but I can't get over how big it looks on the bike.
The mustang is comfortable but ugly so now I'm in search for a solo that sleek but still has some comfort.
I don't have the Solo, I have the Danny Gray Weekday 2-Up with the Red tribal stitching and gel in both rider and passenger seats. At least, the ebay seller claims it has the gel. I think it does. The comfort is outstanding and it's a fair amount heavier than the stocker. It also had a weird smell when I unpacked it. So I'd bet a beer it has the gel in it.
Yeah, it's comfy, sits a tiny bit lower, looks fantastic and is leather. Others can keep their vinyl. Yeah, vinyl lasts longer. So what? Don't care how long vinyl lasts. Not interested, couldn't care less. Leather rules. Period.
Point being, if that's what you're looking for, look at the Danny Gray Weekday Solo. Same seat. And there's a lot more of them being sold. With a lot more options.
Be careful and be studious when shopping for them. I got mine from Sterling Seats on Ebay for $350 plus $25 shipping. Supposed to be a $630 seat. Whatever. I'm happy. Take your time, check fairly often. They don't show up all the time.
If you're looking for a decently comfortable solo seat that's low profile you should check out C&C seats. I have their LoPro solo seat and it's nice. It's pretty comfortable for what it is and I think they look nice. See my sig pic.
I have the HD Brawler Solo, and it's more comfortable than ya think. looks good too. Feels like it gave me about 3 or 4 inches in leg room from stock seat

I have been happy with the HD brawler seat; it is comfortable but a little firmer than the stock seat. The riding position seems about 2" further back than stock but feels pretty good.
I had the Brawler solo for my 2011 Fat Bob and really liked it. Then, I got my C&C LoPro Cusom, and that spelled the end of the Brawler - it's a really good seat, I just like the C&C better. I have the "grained" leather look, which is really comfortable and pushes me back quite a bit (I'm 6'3"), which is perfect. C&C also makes a great passenger pillion fot the LoPro, which works perfectly. Good luck!
