06 dyna stator/rotor

I know some people on the forum have put a small weld on the rotor bolts for the stator setup to prevent them from backing out and causing a disaster. Does the weld throw off any type of balance the rotor my have? Add extra vibs to the ride?

I put a small weld on one small section of each screw. Just enough to hold the screw in place and haven't notice any difference. I snapped some before and after photos of the stator and the baker install. I'll have to get my camera and post some pictures one of these days. I'll try tomorrow if you think it will help you.

when the dealer was in fixing my Inner Primary Barring I Demanded that they replace the Rotor Stator on Harley's tab

I've tack welded my rotor bolts (put the Baker bearing and later chain tensioner in as well).

No vibration issues.

happy with the baker bearing then? did not know if i was going to go with the new HD or the baker
