So, im at the Oakland Harley Dealer on Sat Morning meeting up with about 20 other rider to do a Hwy 1 ride up the coast and everyone is getting ready to go and I sit on my bike stick my key in the ignition and nothing ! it wont turn on me .... almost like its jammed .... F**K ME ! there are like 30 people waiting on me !
THANK GOD I was at the harley dealer ! i rolled the bike over to service and they took it in the back righ away and were able to 'temporarily" fit it so that I was able to turn the key to the on possition but it wont turn back to the Lock position.
Thank you Oakland/Fremont Harley for getting me back on the road !
Now, the question.
Has anyone ever experienced this ? How much and how hard would it be for me to change out the ignition switch ?
