Ignition Switch Problem
Greetings all. I did a couple of quick searches, and came up dry. I just had an incident with my 05 Ultra ignition. With the key in the unlock position, I moved the ignition block into the fork lock position. I was then unable to get it to turn back to the run position, until I inserted the barrel key, and tried to turn it even further counter clockwise, as if going past the unlock point. Hope that makes sense...
I was able to cycle the ignition a few times, and now it seems to be functioning properly. Just curious if any others have experienced the same thing, and what the outcome was of any repairs from the dealer. I will have it looked at the next time I take it in.
