How much is it leaking?
Any chance it could be residual oil from the change itself?
I worked at a dealer and when we would change filters, we sometimes had complaints of the bike leaving a few drops of oil for a while afterwards. Residual oil gets in every nook and cranny and takes a while to cycle out.
Any possibility that is the issue?

I haven't changed the oil yet. I just reached 1050 miles this past weekend. The original filter leaked as well.

Just an update......I changed my oil last night for the 1000 mile change and found the oil filter adapter backed out 2.5 turns!!! Has anyone else had their adapter back out when pulling the filter???
