Remove the jiffy & remove material from the top of the locking tab.
I used a sanding disk on my 4" grinder... scribe a line on the tab & sand away.
After a test fit I noticed that the factory weld was obstructing a
'full seating' of the tab into the frame location... so I sanded a little of that away as well.

Scariest part was getting it off the lift when I was done. In order to get the lift under the bike after I lowered it I had to ride the bike onto a couple pieces of stacked plywood under the front and rear wheels. So when I let it back down onto the plywood with the "lowered" kickstand it REALLY leaned over. I think a little poop came out...

I lowered my SB front and back with progressives..bike was too upright on the stand but did the cheapo mod with the kickstand like this...

But I did'nt need to touch the frame..bikes now back to normal lean..
Just a footnote*** don't know if when you do an oil check without the lean the measurement reads wrong ???
